This week a Shaw Dog Park visitor and list serve member reported a disturbing incident of poisoning in the neighborhood.
During a walk around the Logan Circle neighborhood, his dog ingested a toxic quantity of acetaminophen, disguised in a “pill pocket”.
The dog survived but endured over a week in the hospital and a blood transfusion.
Please be careful when walking your dog.
- Use a short leash
